For the past year, I have been immersing myself in the study of the I Ching, or the Book of Changes, an ancient form of Chinese divination, particularly as taught by Benebell Wen in her new tome on the subject.
This easy to follow system involves casting a series of 6 broken and unbroken lines called hexagrams. There are 64 hexagrams, each with their own elemental associations, correspondences and written interpretations that has been oreserved and translated for centuries. Much wisdom is found in the Book of Changes.
This form of divination is quickly becoming my favorite; the Oracle leading the I Ching is wise, upright and full of magic.
